Summary\r

The Planning and Reporting team at Bell Media plays an integral part in reporting, forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning. The role provides an opportunity to work in an engaging, dynamic and fast paced environment, providing direct support to the senior management team.  The role will report to Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis.

Key Responsibilities\rPerform the Bell Media monthly in year forecasting process and the related financial rollupPerform the Bell Media budgeting and long range plan process and the related financial rollupManage timelinesLiaising with business unit finance primes and BCE Corporate groupsCreating and maintaining forecast templates for business unit finance primesAnalyzing specific spend areas across all departmentsProducing comprehensive year-over-year variance analysisTracking risks and opportunitiesPrepare presentation materials for Bell Media and BCE Finance senior leadership teamsPrepare monthly reporting package on latest forecast, including meaningful variance analysis (forecast versus budget, previous forecasts/Outlooks and prior year)Act as a BPC expert, Bell Media’s reporting, forecasting and planning tool.  Includes assisting and consulting on any BPC related projects and initiatives. Be connected on results to assess impact on short-term trajectoryAssist with special projects on an ad hoc basis, such as consistency of reporting across all Bell Media business units, run assessment and modeling financial impacts of various strategic initiatives.Critical Qualifications\rCPA professional accounting designationDemonstrated ability to take initiativeSuperior analytical and problem solving skillsRelentless attention to detail and accuracyDemonstrated ability to create high quality presentations to managementDemonstrated ability to take ownership of issues and see through to resolutionStrong ability to partner with various cross-functional groups and management levelsAbility to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and balance multiple deliverablesExceptional PowerPoint and Excel skillsStrong communication abilitiesAbility to drive results while fostering a positive and collaborative work environmentExperience with SAP, BPC is an asset

 

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
