Our Global Logistics and Distribution business unit provides comprehensive logistics services and warehousing solutions utilizing a global network of distribution centers, innovative technology and supply chain expertise to manage the flow of goods from receiving to storage and order processing to shipment.
Job Summary:
The primary function of this position supports the Forward Stocking Location (FSL) in conducting on-boarding, training, and the completion of training related documentation. This position monitors the overall Quality status of the FSL’s operating procedures and acts in compliance to the Quality Document System (QDocS). Ensures processes are maintained through the implementation of procedures, training, and regular inspections.
Responsibilities:
Ensures all staff is trained in their respective job functions.Creates and revises Standard Operating Procedures as required.Monitors the processes and systems within the FSL to ensure regulatory compliance and effective operation.Collaborates in the investigation of discrepancies and escapes and advise the appropriate individuals of the findings.Performs maintenance, support, and continuous improvements of Quality Systems. Conducts regular inspections of the facility and recordkeeping. Coordinate or assist with corrective actions and preventative measures.Assists in development and post implementation support of pro-active strategies to ensure service commitments are not compromised or that service failure is kept to an absolute minimum.Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.Demonstrate and drive proper job methods as needed.Ensure proper storage of items, following organization specifications for handling and storage.Monitor and record QCPC metrics such as defect rates, process variations, and corrective actions to track performance and identify areas for improvement.Generate regular reports on QCPC performance, trends, and issues for management review.Minimum Qualifications:
Requires Microsoft office suite proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Safety training experience - PreferredQuality and process orientation - PreferredWorking Hours: 2nd shift Mon-Fri 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM. Overtime and shift work required as needed.
