Analyst, Data Governance
**Company description** Zenith is a full-service media agency with capabilities and expertise across all channels and disciplines. Zenith is part of Publicis Media, the #1 media buying network in the Americas and #2 globally. As “The ROI Agency,” Zenith’s expertise lies in driving real, tangible business outcomes, not just media metrics, that will have a measurable effect on our clients’ business. Every investment we make has an ROI mindset—not just for our clients, but for our agency at large. We’re focused on driving the maximum value for our people, our capabilities and our media investments for some of the world’s leading brands. **Overview** **What does Zenith Data Governance do?** Data Governance collaborates with Analytics, Engineering, and Technology Activation teams to design and enforce the processes and protocols used to effectively manage data across our digital ecosystem to ensure quality, consistency, and availability. We also work to understand key decision points so we can ensure the correct business logic is applied, documented, and executed. Once that data is mined, it is used to optimize campaigns and tell the stories that bring our clients closer to their marketing, helping them understand if they’re talking to the people they want, and if they’re doing it the right way. **What does a successful Analyst look like?** We don’t all look the same, and we don’t expect you to either. Successful members of our team generally have a passion for emerging tech and media, bring a data-driven approach to decision-making, have a problem-solving mind, have a fresh perspective and share it in a positive way, don’t shy away from a challenge, and are always hungry to learn more. Familiarity with media analytics and data helps, especially digital media, but isn’t necessarily a requirement. Prior professional experience in a data-related role is highly preferred. **What does a Data Governance Analyst do day-to-day?** Analysts form the foundation of the Data Governance team. They work closely with core Analytics teams to understand client media reporting requirements and processes. They also work with other cross functional teams and help implement standardized processes and protocols to enable efficient data management. They behave like Business Analysts who understand the business requirements and are able to produce clear documentation to facilitate automation of data processing. **Responsibilities** + Bachelor’s degree.
