Global Merchant & Network Services (GMNS) brings together American Express' merchant-and network-related businesses to enable a sharp focus on using the power of our network to provide unique value to all of our mutual customers. The organization manages the relationships with the millions of merchants around the world that accept American Express and runs the company’s payment network and manages bank partnerships globally. The Global Strategy & Operations (GSOP) group sits within GMNS. GSOP’s mission is to become essential to merchants and partners globally by delivering an easy, frictionless, value-added experience that enables them to meet their goals and serve their customers.  GSOP consists of a diverse set of teams that support the GMNS business. Merchant Onboarding & Account Maintenance team sits within GSOP and supports the GMNS business in delivering smooth & compliant account management experience for our merchants.  The team is focused on uplifting the onboarding experience, enhancing the data that impacts merchant accounts and driving compliant process for merchant account maintenance.

 Merchant Onboarding & Account Maintenance team is looking for an Analyst, Data Enrichment & Hierarchy Management, focused on ensuring efficient and compliant merchant account management programs around the world. This role will focus on supporting issue resolution by performing reporting and analytical tasks as well as stakeholder management, across onboarding, refresh and maintenance. The role will also execute tracking of the merchant onboarding & maintenance processes, in support of an efficient and compliant program.  

  Specific responsibilities will include:

Diagnose data findings and work towards uplifting and enriching merchant account information Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to improve merchant account processes and procedures Deliver on reporting needs for merchant onboarding & maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations and industry standards Verify merchant account set up data accuracy and oversight Provision of analytical & reporting activities to support forums updating leaders

Minimum Qualifications:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to diagnose data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios effectively Knowledge of writing SQL queries and executing them using HIVE, LUMI Strong knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint etc. Excellent qualitative analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of programming tools like SQL/Python and Data visualization technique like Tableau will be an added advantage

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
