About the Role

As Lead Analyst, Controlling, North America, you are responsible for conducting detailed financial analysis of customer programs and promotions, preparing insights, analyzing promotional spending, preparing sales and margin analysis reports, and making recommendations. The position will collaborate with commercial business leaders to support the growth and profit objectives for the North America region of the Lifestyle Consumer Audio business. The role also supports major corporate and global initiatives. The North America region is headquartered in Northridge, CA.

What You Will Do

Financial Planning and Analysis – Conduct detailed financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support decision-making and long-term planning.  Prepare, review, and provide insights into profitability, including highlighting major trends, key drivers, and providing recommendations for improvement and/or actions.Trade Promotion Forecasting, Analysis, and Reporting – Prepare and analyze monthly and annual budgets of promotional spend and deliver monthly and quarterly sales and promotional spend impact to sales and cm reporting across products, customers, and sales channels. Data Analysis – Analyze financial data, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assist management in understanding business performance and identifying areas for improvement. Maintain complex and detailed financial models and be able to create information from data.   Review programs – Review and analyze promotional spending for customers and sales channels, including investments to drive profitable growth. Work with commercial leaders to provide solutions to business challenges and opportunities. Able to independently research and transform data into insights and actions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams - Gather data and provide analysis, explanations, insights, and solutions to support growth and profitability initiatives.Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects - Partner with commercial leaders to measure and deliver operational improvements. 

What You Need to Be Successful

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or equivalent, MBA a plus.

Minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, including customer trade promotion analysis, within Consumer Electronics, Consumer Products, or related industries.

Proficiency in financial modeling skills and exceptional analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities (eg, Pivot tables, index, lookups, offsets, arrays, what if scenarios, etc.).Proficiency in managing large data sets to extract, clean, and analyze financial data.Strong knowledge of SAP, EPM, Qlik Sense, and similar enterprise, reporting, and forecasting tools.Financial acumen skills, including experience with preparing financial reports and analysis.Ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively across different organizational levels, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced environment.Bonus Points if You Have Worked in Finance at a large retailer (eg, Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Target)Knowledge of visualization tools (eg, Tableau)

Salary Ranges:

$ 82,500 - $ 121,000
