Howmet is currently in search of an Analyst, Cash Application supporting our Financial Shared Services in Székesfehérvár. This position is responsible for accurate bookkeeping of sub ledger accounts of the North American Howmet locations, strictly following the rules of Howmet Financial Management Handbook and Service Level Agreement with Shared Services customers. Key activities: + Application and usage of Oracle financial modules. + Performs the daily cash application and customer account maintenance tasks following the daily schedule. + Responsible for constant communication within the AR team to keep smooth the daily flow of operations. + Application of the common Chart of Account for North America Howmet locations. + To follow up standards and recommendations of Financial Management Handbook and country specific requirements of locations. + Execute tasks/accounting entries initiated by SSC’s customers. + Regular contact with customers of the Shared Service Center (SSC). Education, experience and skills: Basic: + Secondary school certificate specialized at finance and accounting + English and Hungarian language skills. Preferred: + Degree in finance or accounting obtained at a college or university or CPA certificate. + Thorough knowledge of Chart of Accounts and Howmet Financial Management Handbook in his/her area of responsibility. + Knowledge of the accounting standards. + Knowledge of integrated financial software. + Knowledge of Oracle Financial Modules. + Computer skills. + Good problem solving and communication ability. + Customer focus.
