Our team is hiring an Analyst, Advanced Services in Los Angeles who will report to the Vice President, Distribution Strategy while supporting various group members as well. In this role, the Analyst, Advanced Services assists with the distribution of FOX content, with responsibilities ranging from supporting deal negotiations, tracking, and implementation through evaluating and analyzing industry trends and product performance that impact the distribution of our content.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Digital Distribution:Assist in internal and external facing aspects of new media deal planning, negotiations, and implementation across MVPD, vMVPD, SVOD, FOX One, and FAST partnersSupport the deal team, including proposal and contract review of key deal terms across existing and emerging digital partnerships, including economic structures, content rights, and notice provisionsSupport cross-functional implementation of new digital products, such as by delivering viewership analyses and insights to inform launch strategies and budget planningTrack deal deadlines and notice requirementsAnalyze performance and monetization models across digital distribution channels to inform deal structures and platform strategyDistribution Strategy:Assist in monitoring media and sports industry trends and competitive marketplace moves, such as maintaining internal resources to track and inform on competitive benchmarking Analyze research reports, viewership data, and other media consumption metrics to seek out sales stories for the Distribution Sales teamTrack and summarize internal and external industry subscriber and revenue trendsContribute to regular reporting of financial and operating insights to inform distribution negotiations and strategyCreate PowerPoint presentations and additional materials to be used internally for insights and decisions and externally for sales presentations, including contextualizing portfolio positioning and evolving consumer behaviorPlay a key role in evaluating and developing strategies to drive distribution-related decision-making, including collaborating across teams to provide data-driven insights that support distribution strategic initiativesWHAT YOU WILL NEED
Relevant experience, preferably in media. A successful internship qualifies as experienceTeam player and self-starter with a positive attitude and a desire to learnStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with an ability to understand the big picture and business as a wholeAptitude to work well on more than one project at a time in a dynamic environment, including adjusting to shifting priorities and deadlines as appropriateAbility to maintain confidential informationProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel & PowerPointPassion for media and entertainmentNICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
Bachelor’s degree in a field related to business, finance, media, etc.Experience working with Nielsen#LI-DNI

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $28.75-39.42 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
