Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recordedPerform reconciliationsAssist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelinesExplain variances for different comparisonsUpdate financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when neededPrepare and submit weekly/monthly reportsAssist accounting manager in the preparation of monthly/yearly closingsAssist with other accounting projectsComplying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.Maintaining accurate financial records.Assist in internal and external auditsKeeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.Prepare regulatory reports

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.2 years of experience may be preferred.Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes.Ethical behavior.Attention to detail.Excellent knowledge of MS OfficeSAP knowledgeEnglish is required
