The Magna HR systems team is rapidly expanding to assist Payroll and HR professionals in our Canadian and US operations with their daily tasks. This position involves offering technical support and troubleshooting for the Dayforce Time and Payroll modules. We are looking for an motivated Support Analyst to join our HRIS support team, primarily providing first-level support for Payroll and Time & Attendance in Dayforce, along with a basic understanding of payroll processes and employee life cycles.
Your Responsibilities
Provide first-level support for Dayforce Payroll and Time & Attendance inquiries, ensuring timely resolution or escalation
Assist with system configurations, testing, and validation of Payroll and Time & Attendance modules
Collaborate with senior specialists to analyze and resolve system issues or enhancement requests
Assist in developing and maintaining user guides, FAQs, and documentation for system processes
Respond to tickets and user queries with professionalism, ensuring clear communication and follow-up
Support training sessions by preparing materials or addressing basic user questions
In this role you will provide
Frontline support
Troubleshoot user issues
Perform configurations under guidance
Who we are looking for
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, IT, or related field required
1-2 years experience in an HR, payroll, or systems support role; Dayforce experience preferred
Basic understanding of payroll processes and calculations
Familiarity with Payroll and Time & Attendance systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications, mainly Excel
Your preferred qualifications
Experience with Dayforce and respective modules considered is an asset
