Working alongside a dedicated team, you’ll develop and implement crisis management strategies to protect Apple’s operations, employees, and assets across its facilities and global supply chain, ensuring resilience against emerging threats and disruptions. **Description** You’ll play a key role in Apple’s Crisis Management team, which follows a Prepare, Coordinate, and Respond approach to support colleagues and business operations during critical situations. Success in this role requires expertise in crisis management, tactical problem-solving, and strong stakeholder engagement. Prepare: • Apply deep knowledge of security risks—geopolitical, operational, and natural disasters—across the AMR region (North, South and Central America) to design, implement, and test crisis response procedures and protocols. • Maintain established relationships with law enforcement, government agencies, and security professionals across the region. • Deliver executive-level presentations and public speaking engagements. • Support the development of the Crisis Management Training Program and delivers crisis preparedness training—both in-person and virtually—to Crisis Response Teams (CRTs) across AMR. Coordinate: • Partner with Apple business units to enhance Crisis Management (CM) programs and support growth initiatives. • Build relationships with senior stakeholders to integrate CM into business operations. • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Apple’s assets across business units. Respond: • Lead crisis response efforts in AMR and globally when needed. • Provide clear, well-informed assessments and maintain composure under pressure. • Make critical decisions in high-ambiguity situations. • Lead Apple’s crisis response to various incidents, deliver situation reports, and guide teams through crisis response plans. • Work with key stakeholders to drive effective resolutions. • Quickly identify and assess risks to Apple during incidents. • Brief cross-functional response teams and executives on unfolding situations and response actions. • Communicate with Apple employees through appropriate channels during crisis events. • Conduct post-incident reviews, assess decision-making effectiveness, and implement improvements. **Minimum Qualifications** + 10+ years of experience in crisis management or a related field + Extensive experience working with law enforcement or security vendors + Global perspective in addressing crisis challenges + Experience developing and implementing proactive crisis response plans + Experience creating high-quality presentations and delivering impactful training to support crisis management initiatives + Ability to distill complex information into clear, concise communication + Able to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time **Preferred Qualifications** + Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in a related field + Strong understanding of the full spectrum of security risks in AMR, with specific experience in film/television production security and crisis management within production environments + Strong track record of delivering on commitments and acknowledging mistakes when necessary + Exceptional attention to detail and standards + Ability to assess and test local response capabilities and CRT readiness Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
