We’re looking for an AML Senior Associate to join our Integrated Compliance Services team at MBPS. In this role, you will perform name scanning for individuals or entities against Sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons (PEP), Relatives and Close Associates (RCA), and Corporate Mandated Watchlist. Conducting investigation of daily transaction monitoring alerts, raise unusual activity, and perform KYC (Know Your Customer), review documentation for customer accounts, evaluate high-risk accounts, and analyze customer processes and policies using internal systems and applications.
Position Responsibilities:
Support Singapore local compliance by performing initial name scanning and transaction monitoring to detect unusual activities and mitigate potential reputational risks associated with clients.
Adhere to AML guidelines and apply enhanced due diligence for Politically Exposed Persons, high-risk clients, and in accordance with government regulations.
Review AML alerts to detect irregularities and suspicious activities.

Enhanced Due Diligence Customer has Financial or Non-Financial Activity Today
Create cases for potential suspicious activities and assign them to the local compliance team for further investigation.
Notify Local Compliance and Local Operations of any gaps or discrepancies through email escalation.
Collaborate with the local compliance for any process updates.
Create EOD and monthly report to local compliance
Required Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience in finance, insurance operations, or compliance-related work (preferred but not required).
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Bachelor's degree and/or associate degree plus equivalent combination of education, additional certification, and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Accuracy and keen attention to detail with strong decision-making skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrate extraordinary attention to detail.
Willingness to adhere to a hybrid work arrangement (3 days on-site per week).
Ability to engage and collaborate with the ICS team.
Willingness to support ad hoc tasks as needed.
