Job Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

CUSTOMER

Support the business internally as a specialist of a given area in AML/ATF, Sanctions/ABAC mattersConduct sound investigations and provide AML/ATF, Sanctions/ABAC, support and recommendations on AML/BSA, Sanctions and ABAC investigationsSupport and understand risk identification, risk analysis and risk mitigation according to the regulatory requirements and industry best business practicesRecommend responses to any AML, Sanctions/ABAC questions and immediately escalate any sensitive issues to senior managementProvide trend analysis and reporting of AML, Sanctions/ABAC findings to Management for reviewAssist the operational function with developing/drafting and maintaining written policies, procedures and/or programs/frameworks to minimize compliance breaches and monitor adherence to applicable regulations/ requirementIdentify, document and investigate processes / exceptions arising from transactions beyond 1st level operations service delivery and resolve escalated matters and refer complex issues / situations beyond own level of expertiseEstablish and provide analysis and reporting on operational performance of the businesses with respect to AML, Sanctions/ABAC related transactionsAssist in managing an effective, on-going AML, Sanctions/ABAC surveillance program designed to detect and mitigate regulatory violations and breaches of internal policies and proceduresComplete filings and/or reporting to regulators and/or law enforcement agencies as required, for Management review and approval

Prioritize and manage own workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivityConsistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where appropriateProtect the interests of the organization – identify and manage risks, and escalate non-standard, high-risk transactions / activities as necessaryComply with applicable internal and external audit and regulatory requirements and may actively participate in Audit Reviews, providing recommendations and guidance as requiredKeep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impactsMaintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

Undergraduate degree preferred3+ years relevant experience
