Description AML/KYC Analyst (Long-Term Contract) Location: Charlotte, NC Employment Type: Contract Robert Half is proud to partner with a large and respected financial institution in Charlotte, NC, in their search for multiple AML/KYC Analysts to join their team on a long-term contract basis. Key Responsibilities: + Conduct thorough research and investigations on customer profiles to ensure compliance with AML/KYC regulations and institutional policies. + Review, interpret, and analyze complex data sets for discrepancies, potential risks, and unusual patterns. + Perform due diligence and enhanced due diligence (EDD) on new and existing accounts. + Draft and present comprehensive reports and supporting documentation with findings on investigations. + Collaborate with internal teams and management to provide updates and ensure resolution of flagged cases. + Stay informed of evolving AML/KYC regulations and assist in ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements. + Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency. Requirements Ideal Candidate Qualifications: + Experience: 3+ years of experience in AML/KYC analysis or a related compliance role. + Research Skills: Extensive experience in conducting detailed research and analysis using institutional systems, tools, and external resources. + Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey findings clearly and professionally. + Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze complex data and identify patterns or inconsistencies. + Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with banking systems and compliance tools; knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is a plus.
