Responsibilities
Conduct maintenance on aircraft and aircraft components as directed by the AME Team LeadPerform all maintenance activities in accordance with the applicable standards of air worthinessAccurately complete all paperwork for assigned tasks in a timely mannerPerform independent and critical task checks if trained and authorized to do soTroubleshoot faulty systems to determine a course of rectification in conjunction with the Lead AMEPerform various duties including engine runs and aircraft towing, as trained and authorized to do soConduct hangar clean upAssist with sheet metal repairs as requiredRequirements
Aircraft Maintenance Diploma, or relevant trainingPrevious experience working with fixed wing aircraft, preferably larger turboprop or jet engine aircraftMust have own basic mechanics toolboxExcellent troubleshooting and analytical skillsAbility to take direction and learn quicklyProven observational, decision-making and time management skillsMechanically inclined, ability to work with your handsComputer knowledgeStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a team, as well as work independentlySuccessful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing requirementsWork Conditions
