Ambulatory RN/Hematology Oncology
Job Summary The Ambulatory RN specializing in the Hematology Oncology department works with a multidisciplinary team to provide high quality outpatient care to patients with an oncologic or hematologic diagnosis. The RN uses critical thinking and the nursing process to conduct phone triage, provide patient education, evaluate refill requests, and monitor lab and imaging results in partnership with physicians and mid-level providers. The RN must be able to work independently and in a team environment. They work closely with Medical Assistants, schedulers and other members of the health care team to create and implement a plan of care. The candidate will exemplify compassion, empathy, dependability and accountability with a desire to solve complex problems. Schedule. (4) 8 hour days.
