Ambulatory Informatics & Digital Analyst II
*Description* *Summary:***Develops, integrates, and supports systems and applications. Works with and assists others on application of ambulatory system integration principles and digital transformation to support business goals. *Responsibilities:* 1.Achieves ambulatory system integration through performance of assignments, correcting system and application problems in accordance with IT problem management standards and supporting assigned projects. Ensures application of integration quality standards across assigned projects. 2.Integrates ambulatory systems through analysis, design, code, test, documentation, and implementation of applications adhering to ITG system integration, quality, documentation, and production turnover, and change management standards. Creates and maintains technical specifications and test plans. Provides estimates and makes recommendations to others based upon analysis. 3.Analyze business and user requirements and collaborate with teams to design and build technology or process solutions which automate or improve the EMR system to support business strategies while considering cost vs value and alternate solutions. 4.Optimizes, adapts, and verifies ambulatory applications and office processes in assigned area. Automates and documents workflows associated with production applications and environments and assists others to do so. Supports enterprise-wide application system production environments. 5.Supports Information Technology knowledge management through documenting, maintaining, and improving system integration standards, processes, and practices in assigned area, and assisting others to do so. May guide and mentor Ambulatory Informatics Analyst - level 1 6.Contributes to performance improvement programs to enhance and sustain system and application reliability, availability, stability, and integrity in assigned area in support of overall departmental performance improvement goals. 7.Provides support and maintenance for digital and mobile technology in assigned area by responding to service requests and events logged in departmental problem management and reporting system, maintaining contact with customers as required. Performs and analyzes root cause. Monitors and assists others to resolve system, application, and interface problems. When required, provides technical assistance in a timely manner. 8.Supports team efforts and assists others in the effective application of system integration techniques and strategies to achieve system and application reliability. Excels in our agile, personal, imaginative and connected goals with a self-management style. Meets established milestones and schedules. 9.Understands the integration points of EMR architecture and provides direction for testing such points in concert with review and oversight for test plans and strategies. Directs team to consider impact of builds and system updates on integration points. 10.Maintains and enhances professional and technical knowledge and expertise in relevant technologies and strategies through learning events (such as attendance at formal training programs, industry seminars, and self-education). 11.Elicits requirements using interviews, document analysis, shadowing, site visits, and workflow analysis. 12.Provides onsite support in the Medical practices offices and/or Ancillary department locations as needed 13.Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position. 14.Creates education plans and educates network staff as required for system implementation and support 15.Provides 24/7 support through investigation & analysis of problems using documentation, manuals, debugging tools & logic to resolve problems, prevent recurrence & ensure continuity. Takes remote call for off-shift, weekends & holidays as assigned. 16.Performs other duties as assigned. *Other Information:* Bachelors Degree, preferably in Information Technology, with 2 - 4 years job related experience. Will accept Associates Degree with 7+ years job related experience.
