Ambulatory Care Administration Supervisor 1 - IPU & Endocrinology

The Ambulatory Administration Supervisor 1 with the Integrated Practice Unit and Endocrinology oversees administrative and float pool staff, ensuring smooth clinic operations from patient registration through discharge. In this role you will manage staff workflows, training and performance while addressing patient flow, scheduling, authorizations and cash control processes. You will handle escalated patient and operational issues, provide service recovery and coordinate with leadership to optimize efficiency and service quality. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to developing procedures, maintaining compliance, supporting provider schedules and serving as a resource for staff training and problem resolution. Salary Range: $70,900 - $145,200 Annually Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience - preferred + At least 3 years experience working in a healthcare setting + Ability to organize and prioritize work to complete assignments in a timely manner + Proven ability to manage, coach and develop administrative teams, ensuring efficient workflows and high quality patient service + Strong knowledge of registration processes, insurance authorizations, provider scheduling, and patient flow coordination + Working knowledge of University and Hospital policies and procedures to appropriately manage patient registration, cashiering, risk management and personnel. + Working knowledge of the (EPIC) CareConnect system + Skilled in handling escalated patient concerns, facilitating effective solutions, and maintaining positive patient and staff experiences + Interpersonal skills to promote a cooperative and productive work environment and to establish and maintain cooperative, productive working relationships with faculty, residents, medical students and staff from various social, cultural and economic backgrounds UCLA Health welcomes all individuals, without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin or disabilities, and we proudly look to each person’s unique achievements and experiences to further set us apart.
