About the Role

• Reporting to Head of Liability Driven Investment Solutions and Strategic Initiatives, within Investment-ALM Department.

• Support management of hedge programme, development of Investment strategy along with timely delivery of other strategic Investment-ALM initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Oversee the functioning of Par Fund and Non-Par Fund Management to provide optimal and sustainable solution from an Investment-ALM perspective.Manage analytical studies including financial projections and modelling approach related to hedging and other investment strategy analysis, including impact on investment return, risk metrics, capital, embedded value, IFRS and PRE analysis.Identify and propose enhancement opportunities for hedge strategies, investment strategy, SAA and other ALM initiatives, and lead cross-functional engagement as needed including stakeholder management for approval and ongoing management.Design and implement tools (including guiding juniors as applicable) for asset liability position monitoring, analysis and financial metrics projection related to hedging or other Investment-ALM related initiatives.Design, prepare and potentially present management information (MI) related to Investment-ALM matters for relevant committees.Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements.Ensure the compliance of various capital and risk management requirement from Group Office and regulator on daily work.Work closely with internal and external stakeholders including within Investment, Actuarial, Risk, Finance, Group colleagues as well as external service providers such as asset managers, investment banks, etc.

Minimum Job Requirements:

University / College graduate in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Financial Mathematics or relevant subject plus at least 10 years of relevant experienceSound analytical and people skills.Good communication, presentation and project management skills.Possess business acumen, be innovative and self-driven.Ability to deal with and handle multiple and changing priorities.Knowledge in insurance products and various financial reporting basesKnowledge in asset liability management and economic based capital regime will be an advantageProficiency in Business Software
