Are you an experienced Allround IT Specialist for our Headquarter, who enjoys helping colleagues, quickly switching between departments, and effortlessly being the go-to person for everything related to IT? Are you a people person, enjoy to help and want to combine this with your IT knowledge? 

You will be based at our vibrant international headquarters in Rotterdam. The atmosphere: diverse and truly international. You will also have the chance to take part in international projects. You will be the only IT professional on-site, the go-to person for everything related to IT. You will keep everything running smoothly, from quick fixes to supporting colleagues at every level. No day is ever the same, and you will be involved in everything. 

Beyond handling diverse and challenging tasks, one of the most rewarding aspects of this position is the opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of international stakeholders. You will provide hands-on support, tackle and support on various IT challenges, playing a key role in ensuring seamless IT operations.

In this role, you will report to the Head of Infrastructure and Networking, working alongside five other specialized experts and colleagues. You will have a dedicated scope of responsibility, taking full ownership of all IT support at our headquarters. We expect you to take full initiative in your role, ensuring seamless IT operations and providing top-tier support. 

The tasks and responsibilities are:  

Supporting end users with IT-related questions and issues. 

Implementing and complying with the European security policy. 

Proactively monitoring and supervising systems and applications to detect and resolve disruptions in a timely manner, ensuring continuity and availability. 

Installing, configuring, and maintaining workstations, servers, network equipment, and business applications. 

Drafting and updating user manuals and technical documentation. 

Collaborating with Central IT on European IT projects. 

Managing and maintaining on premise and virtual server environments within VMware. 

About you 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and pragmatic IT professional who has the following background and experience: 

You have a MBO degree

At least 5 years of working experience in an IT support function. 

You understand how IT customer service works and have/would like experience in an international environment. 

Excellent proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written. 

You are technical, pragmatic and enjoy your helpenjoy helping people with your knowledge.  

You enjoy being at the office and are fun to work with!
