Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Frontline is an established leader in the field of CAM software for PCB manufacturing. We have embarked on the exciting path of adding artificial intelligence capabilities to our products.

We are looking for an Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Deep Learning  Engineer – Generative AI (LLMs/VLLMs) to join our AI team.

Responsibilities include creating machine learning models, deploying them within our existing products, retraining and maintaining them. This entails all algorithmic and software engineering aspects. To do this job successfully, you need exceptional software engineering skills additionally to data science background.

Your ultimate goal will be to shape and build efficient AI applications that seamlessly integrate into our existing products.

Responsibilities

Design and implement appropriate Machine Learning or Deep Learning algorithms and tools according to product requirementsFull closure of development cycle from initial idea all the way to seamless integration with existing productsWork as a team member for optimal achievement of project goalsSelect appropriate datasets and data representation methodsTrain, evaluate, and fine-tune models using both cloud and on-premise infrastructureApply advanced techniques such as LLM/VLLM fine-tuning, quantization, and RAG to optimize performance and contextual accuracyExtend and customize ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch) for specific use casesRun machine learning tests and experiments on the teams chosen platforms (on cloud & on premise)Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test resultsKeep abreast of developments in the AI/ML fieldAttain a high degree of knowledge in the domain of PCB manufacturing

Minimum Qualifications

BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics or similar field; Master’s degree or higher is a plusAt least 3 years Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar roleUnderstanding of data structures, data modeling and software architectureDeep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithmsOutstanding analytical and problem-solving skills3 years’ experience writing robust code in PythonFamiliarity with machine learning frameworks PyTorchExcellent communication skills, Ability to work in a team
