The Raytheon Automated Logistics Control System department is a team of software developers, architects, business analysts and product support personnel who support logistics solutions for fielded equipment and systems around the world.

We are looking for an ALCS Systems / Software Logistics Product Support Engineer that we can train in the agile methods we utilize to sustain and develop logistics solutions.

The Automated Logistics Control System is a flagship database application and consists of multiple modules for supply support, asset management, work planning and administration as well as system configuration management. ALCS has been an RTX application for 40+ years, and the team has continued to innovate and expand its capabilities.

This unaccompanied position will be onsite in Doha, Qatar for an international assignment with additional compensation.

Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignments including comprehensive post-offer medical examination.   

What You Will Do

Responsible for assisting customers in the use of ALCS and the administration of the data generated by the transactions in the application.Develop requirements from customer interaction, and process definitions that need update or modification.Utilize software resources and MS SQL procedures to create reports, dashboards and customer data requests as needed.Support the creation / adjustment of transactions at both application and database layer.Support the implementation of changes as new releases are readied.Assist in the support of the infrastructure for the ALCS application at the Qatar PATRIOT Depot.The ability to take new projects from idea to implementation while managing cost and schedule.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 1 year experience.Experience in Program Management, Earned Value, and Project Management.Experience .Net C# software development methodologies, and the ability to be trained in SQL reporting.Experience with database applications and data intensive processes.Experience generating deliverable documents, planning activities including developing and performing presentations to the customer.Ability to isolate problems and initiate solutions.Mid-level training in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPointActive and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

Experience researching complex customer problems and providing technical, process and/or training solutions, including TCP / IP networking, database management and software requirements.Experience managing in a depot or production environment.Experience with logistics control systems for supply and maintenance tracking.Comprehension of logistics standards and functions utilized to support PATRIOT and other military systems.Ability to operate independently, within a broad scope of authority, and with minimal supervision.Ability to coordinate and interface effectively at all levels of the organization, across a multi-contractor and government team.Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications skills.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
