**Description**
**Your Role:**
As a Structural Engineer with Propulsion systems exposure, you will responsible for applying your knowledge in structural engineering and certification concepts utilised by ADF and/or civil operators in the management of Aircraft and Propulsion Structural Integrity (ASI/PSI). More specifically, your role will provide ASI/PSI engineering support and expertise to the Triton program as required by relevant Airworthiness Regulations, customer requirements and Northrop Grumman Australia Pty Ltd.
+ Collecting, analysing and managing usage and condition data to manage and address issues in the ASI and PSI Programs,
+ Managing, co-ordinating, and participating in annual ASI/PSI Working Groups, with the purpose of managing ASI/PSI issues and discussing / disseminating potential safety issues impacting safe operation as part of the cooperative program.
+ Contributing and attending relevant domestic and international technical working groups and conferences, including Annual ADF Domestic ASI / PSI Working Groups and Annual Environmental Degradation Technical Interchange Meetings.
+ Performing periodic reviews and identifying relevant actions from the following reports:
+ Quarterly Structural Appraisal of Fatigue Effects (SAFE) reports
+ Depot/Deeper Maintenance Report (DMR) (delivered after the completion of each deeper maintenance activity)
+ Annual Structural Condition Analysis Report (SCAR)
+ 5 yearly Structural Life Assessment (SLA)
+ Completing annual structural integrity assessments as documented in a Fatigue Assessment Report (FAR).
+ Performing a biennial review of the ASI/PSI Management Plans.
**About You:**
+ Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical or Mechanical, or an Engineers Australia recognised equivalent qualification
+ Hold, or be eligible for, Engineers Australia Membership at the level of MIEAust
+ 2+ years’ experience working in engineering structures, or ASI/PSI field as a practicing design engineer in the aviation industry
+ Working knowledge of Defence Aviation Regulations (DASR)
+ Experience in engagement with international programs
+ Excellent communication and relationship management skills
+ Direct technical experience in an aircraft related Through Life Support (TLS) program
+ Civil commercial aircraft program technical knowledge and experience
+ Engineering/technical knowledge to allow an effective level of understanding of engineering tasks
+ Knowledge of structural engineering and certification concepts utilised by ADF and/or civil operators
