THE WORK
- Perform duties requiring an intensive knowledge of computerized Work Order scheduling system.
- Analyze workload generated by scheduled production and spare order versus the capacity available.
- Plan, schedule and coordinate with manufacturing supervision to avoid potential bottlenecks, prevent production delays and resolve problems.
- Use computer system to make revisions to Work Order schedules to compensate for revised requirements.
- Work with Manufacturing to insure jobs are run in priority order.
- Validate requests in support of existing Work Order and request on-line Work Order generation.
- Split Work Order to compensate for material shortages, scrap or move ahead due to rejections.
- Consolidate orders to increase manufacturing efficiency and to reduce paperwork.
- Coordinate material requirements with other planning groups to insure timely ability to support production requirements.
- Perform other material planning and scheduling duties as required.
- Follow all rules and regulations pertaining to environmental health and safety.
- As required, segregate waste material and follow good housekeeping practices.

You are a professional, who is very proficient in several software applications and are an involved people person who can easily engage in group and individual conversations concerning personal or professional dialogues. You will perform a variety of tool control duties to insure availability of Sikorsky, Government or vendor supplied tooling required for the manufacture of parts to support the overhaul, repair, modification and/or refurbishment of aircraft.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
