Aircraft Mechanic III - UH-60 Quality Inspector

GENERAL DESCRIPTION\n\nWill perform Field and Sustainment Level maintenance support\/augmentation to include: Production control, Quality Control, Supply Management, maintenance, and repair of aircraft, as well as launch and recovery of aircraft prior to and after the conduct of flight activities.\nShall work in specialized shops associated with fixed base operations Field Level maintenance as well as perform troubleshooting and maintenance repairs on the flight line at the KYARNG RAPSC facility.\n\n

DUTIES\n\nResponsible for performing preliminary, hidden damage, in process, FOD, and final inspections of work performed within the MRO Operations.\nProvides technical assistance, interprets technical data, and evaluates maintenance actions to ensure safe and reliable aircraft, components, and equipment is provided in accordance with current technical publications and directives.\nComplies with all regulatory\/statutory, customer and contractual requirements.\nMaintain Technical Publications and related directives.\nMaintain Technical publications, forms, and records relative to aircraft maintenance.\nAdminister and monitor aircraft weight and balance programs.\nOrganizational\/intermediate level maintenance.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n

EDUCATION\/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nMust have four (4) years of verifiable H-60 Technical Inspector experience\nMust have 10 + years verifiable H-60 experience\nMust be a graduate of Basic Non-Commissioned Officer Course and or Advanced Leaders Course.\nA valid A&P license is desired.\nMust have completed a H-60 (15T) course or other service equivalent.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen \nMust have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance\nWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.\n\n
