The Aircraft Mechanic Helper is responsible to the assigned Lead, Senior Mechanic or Mechanic in the performance of their duties. **Essential Responsibilities** : + Performs ground support tasks including fuel and oxygen servicing, aircraft towing, launch and recovery and operation of AGE on the Flight Line. + Assists pilots as necessary during launch and recovery. + Must be able to read, comprehend and become proficient on technical data, forms and required documentation. + Performs other duties as assigned. **Minimum Requirements** : + High School Diploma or equivalent GED. + Must be able to demonstrate minimal mechanical aptitude. + Must have the ability, physical fitness, dependability, and qualifications to perform the work. + Must be able to read, speak and write in English. + Must be able to meet physical requirements as noted in Appendix E-Physical Requirements for CBA positions.
