Schedule: Monday – Friday; must be available for variable shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) based on business need
Pay Rate: $33.00/hour
PDS Tech Commercial, partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to support the prestigious VC-25B Program in San Antonio. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team maintaining and modifying one of the most high-profile aircraft programs in the world. Your skills will directly contribute to the safety, reliability, and mission readiness of these aircraft.
What You’ll DoAs an Aircraft Mechanic, you will:
Perform and assist with aircraft electrical modifications, wiring, and system components.
Complete connector terminations, routing, sealing, wrapping, and harness installation.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and retrofit requirements.
Support troubleshooting of electrical and environmental systems, both on the bench and on the flight line.
Assist with operational testing, installations, and modifications of wire bundles and electrical assemblies.
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, government, and company requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (structures, avionics, general mechanics) to meet cost and schedule goals.
Uphold the highest quality standards by following SA Tool and FOD procedures.
What We’re Looking ForBasic Qualifications (Required):
1+ years of experience as an aircraft or electrical mechanic.
1+ years of experience/knowledge of electrical/electronic theories and systems.
Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd).
Ability to pass assessments during training.
Capable of performing physical requirements including climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, lifting up to 35 lbs., and wearing protective equipment.This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license. Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired):
Experience with Depot Level/Modification maintenance.
Ability to operate a forklift, mobile crane, or elevating equipment.

Pay Details: $33.00 per hour
