Summary You will serve as an Aircraft Mechanic in the MRO Production Department of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST. Responsibilities You will Install, adjust, align, troubleshoot and perform final functional and operational tests on a variety of major aircraft systems, their assemblies, components, and prototypes. You will disassemble components/systems and determine the required repairs, reassembles, and reinstalls on aircraft. You will Install, align, and adjust complete new systems. You will connect related systems, such as hydraulic/pneudraulic and cable systems to newly installed or repaired units. You will provide guidance to other employees. You will use a wide variety of precision measuring instruments. Incumbent may be subject to be exposed to dirt/dust, grease, aircraft/hydraulic fluids, oil, solvents, and other hazardous fluids/gases.
