Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they’re well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. If you’re ready to work on our planes, join our Tech Ops experts and help keep our fleet in tip-top shape. **Job overview and responsibilities** + Performs all aspects of aircraft maintenance work including servicing, repair, and proper work documentation in accordance with company procedures and specifications. + May be required to exercise Aircraft Release Authority. + Demonstrates initiative and leadership to other A&P Mechanics. This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded. **Qualifications** **Required** + Must be able to speak, read and write in English and Spanish + Must hold valid country (DGAC) Aircraft Maintenance Certificate and valid FAA A&P licenses + Completion of local Mechanic Qualification Requirements AFAC license + **Must hold a valid Passport and U.S. Visa** + Must have three (3) years experience on B737 and Airbus A-320 or similar type of aircraft + Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico without sponsorship + Regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with United's policies is required + Must be flexible to work ANY shift that is assigned to you within a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation which can include late nights, early hours, weekends and holiday + Attendance is required at work location + Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
