**Take Flight with a Career That Makes a Difference – Now Hiring Product Repair and Modification Technicians in New Orleans!** **Job Title:** Aircraft Seats Technician **Location:** New Orleans, LA (NAS JRB Belle Chasse) **Job Type:** Full Time | Consultant (12 Months) **Schedule:** Monday to Friday | First Shift | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM 9X80 **Starting Pay** **Pay :** $37.05 per hour - $43.00/HR **Experience working with aircraft ejection systems (seats, canopy)** **Be a Key Player in Keeping Aircraft Mission-Ready** PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a **Product Repair and Modification Technician** to support military aircraft operations at NAS Joint Reserve Base in Belle Chasse, LA. In this hands-on, safety-critical role, you’ll ensure the performance, reliability, and readiness of advanced aerospace systems that are vital to national defense. **What You’ll Do** + Maintain and service aircraft ejection seats, canopy systems, oxygen systems, and fire suppression equipment. + Remove, install, inspect, and rig oxygen valves, ejection seat components, lap belts, and harnesses. + Perform routine inspections including daily, pre- and post-flight checks, and periodic maintenance. + Support flight operations, including launch, recovery, and plane captain duties. + Assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace components for maintenance or upgrades. + Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. + Validate system and component functionality through testing. + Ensure repairs meet regulatory and flight-worthiness standards. + Accurately document maintenance activity and inspection outcomes. **What You Bring to the Role** **Required Qualifications:** + High school diploma or GED + **4+ years of aircraft maintenance experience** (or equivalent education and hands-on experience) + **Experience working with aircraft ejection systems** + Familiarity with maintenance involving removal, installation, and inspection of aircraft systems and tools + **Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.** **Preferred Qualifications:** + Navy AME background or similar military technical training + Prior experience with F/A-18 or similar aircraft platforms + Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems **Why Join Us?** At PDS Tech Commercial, we connect skilled professionals with dynamic careers in aerospace and defense.
