Role : Airbus Design System - UI Developer

Description
Adoption is growing and the Airbus Design System team is looking for a UI Developer (m/f) to maintain, build and drive the adoption of the product. You will work on a multi brand system used by 1000 active people across 12 countries on 500 projects.
Can you imagine all the domains of application that an Airbus Front-End Developer will get in touch with? From manufacturing digitalisation to employee applications passing by finance dashboards, specific flight operations for airline dispatchers or maintainers, aerial events apps for fans...
Help us build enablers and drive digitalisation by combining deep experience of UI development and an innate drive to improve existing systems and processes with the creativity to develop new solutions to evolving challenges.
You will collaborate with passionate people; other developers, UI designers and a Product Owner.
Tasks & accountabilitiesBuild reusable components, with dependencies between the different sub-products (Documentation, Tokens, CSS)
Encourage front-end contributions through facilitation, support and code reviews
Follow accessibility standards updates, and ensure compliance
Ensure consistency between UI Kits and Dev Kits
Answering questions in the chat/qa/mails/etc. Triaging and fixing bugs.
Quality & tests: QA, methods and testing, technical documentation, etc.
Identify and manage technical debt to ensure maintainability of the code and anticipate the future
Mentor junior developers on how to write clean code tests and follow best practices.
Required skills
Your Boarding Pass
4+ years of experience in React
Proficiency in Git, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Experience maintaining high quality codebase with test coverage
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and ability to popularise technical concepts
Experience in Responsive Web Design and well versed in implementing Single Page Application
Experience with CI/CD and jenkins
Experience working in cloud-based environments (preferably AWS)
Experience working in agile teams, with developers and other designers
Advanced level of English
Nice to have
Master degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Information System or relevant field
Experience in Angular, web components or other frontend frameworks.
Experience on building and maintaining a Design System or library used by several projects
Experience working on server side rendering
Experience developing web applications which meet WCAG AA accessibility requirements
Knowledge or experience in using APIs, microservices and web services
Experience working on open source
Working on infrastructure AWS, Infra as Code, Deployment, and following security practices.
Animating the community, promote and accompany the adoption of the system
Understand French, German or Spanish language would be a plus
