Description

Northrop Grumman's MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) provides real-time intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) over vast ocean and coastal regions. The aircraft can fly for more than 24 hours at a time, at an altitude above 55,000 feet and an operational range of 8,200 nautical miles. Australia is a cooperative program partner in the Triton program which consists of the US Navy, Royal Australian Air Force and Northrop Grumman. 

Your Role:  

As the Air Vehicle Lead Engineer, you will manage the Air Vehicle team while providing engineering and technical services to the Triton Maintenance Organisation. You will also be accountable for:  

Manage Technical Information  

Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with all partners 

Production of reports to support effective workload and workforce management 

Support the development of improvement strategies and plans for continuous improvement 

Maintaining an effective resource planning/workforce planning system 

About You:  

As an experience Air Vehicle, you will understand the Defence/Aerospace industry leading technical Terms. You will also have: 

Demonstrated Engineering/Technical Knowledge 

Technical Experience in an Aircraft in an aircraft related TLS program  

Experience in project management, planning and scheduling tools  

Desirable but not essential:  

Experience and Technical Knowledge in Civil commercial aircraft program  

Knowledge of working within ISO 9001 Standard frameworks
