Air Traffic Coordinator

As an **Air Traffic Coordinator** , you will support the EAME Transportation services provided by Caterpillar contracted logistics providers for overseas component shipments. **Your responsibilities will include:** + Updating shipping information. Producing and distributing activity reports. + Analysis on destination performance , monitoring the (performance on) weight and charges for all incoming and outgoing freight, analyse evolution of the rate charges. + Recording & resolving issues related to returns, damages, overcharges, and other shipment discrepancies. + Compiling schedules and notifying staff and customers of schedule changes. + Building strong communication & collaboration with the different internal & external stakeholders. + Providing operational support for Outbound & Inbound Air shipments. Measure and control timely collections and deliveries, and monitor any process delays + Seeking for improvement initiatives related to network planning and transportation supplier management. + Assisting with shipment costs calculations, validate associated billing and freight payment/audit procedures. + Running daily and weekly reports to track transportation plan progress. Investigate defects and provide Root Cause Corrective Actions on disrupted shipments. + Supporting international project opportunities such as the integration into a Transportation Management System (TMS) **Skill Descriptors** **Transportation** : Knowledge of transportation; ability to transport materials and goods to and from suppliers, distribution centres, manufacturing facilities and customers. Level Working Knowledge: • Participates in arranging transportation of goods. • Ensures on time shipments; anticipates and resolves shipping problems. • Assists in calculating costs; uses associated billing and freight payment procedures. • Follows process for issuing bids and analysing responses from carriers. • Works with at least one type of transportation mode and carrier. **Data Gathering and Reporting** : Knowledge of tools, techniques, and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company. Level Working Knowledge: • Detects and summarizes patterns in data and findings by producing simple reports. • Assesses common problems and obstacles surrounding data-gathering. • Customizes data fields to meet clients' needs. • Interprets and explains results of a data-gathering initiative. • Participates in projects to gather data for needs analysis. **Flexibility and Adaptability:** Knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change. • Explains the perspective that change is inevitable. • Seeks value in new ways of doing things. • Easily copes with day-to-day frustrations, adversities, and uncertainties. • Provides examples of flexible and inflexible behaviour in the face of change. **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or a related field or equivalent experience. **Posting Dates:** June 17, 2025 - July 18, 2025 Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
