Air Ramp Team Leader

What You Will Do
As an Air Ramp Team Leader at UPS, you will play a crucial role in leading and supporting our air operations team. You’ll oversee daily ramp activities to ensure packages are safely and efficiently loaded and unloaded, while maintaining compliance with operational and safety standards. In this leadership role, you will:

Supervise day-to-day ramp operations to ensure timely and accurate package handlingLead and motivate a team of ramp agents, providing guidance, training, and performance feedbackManage staffing schedules to meet operational demandsIdentify and resolve service issues, process inefficiencies, and safety concernsEnsure adherence to health, safety, and security regulations in all ramp activitiesCollaborate with management to drive process improvements and enhance operational efficiencyDeliver exceptional customer service by ensuring all service commitments are met

What You Will Need

Proven experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or air cargo handling (team leadership experience preferred)Strong leadership and people management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environmentExcellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilitiesFlexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredKnowledge of safety regulations and airport ramp operations is an advantage
