i3 is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Air and Missile Defense (AMD) TIS (Track Identification Services) SW (Software) Development Team Product Owner (PO) will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO). This position is expected to be performed fully onsite in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities Responsible for the Prioritization and validation of the development software for the TIS team. Responsible for the identification and classification of tracks in the C2 (Command and Control) software. Reviewing and understanding Systems Engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms and providing guidance to the development team. Work with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects of the team for each product increment and sprint. Provide technical briefings and advisement to leadership on the status and recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts on the IFMC mission. Qualifications Be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset Be a US citizenHave a bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics Have a minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed aboveCandidate must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance or higher.Other Qualifications:
An additional plus is knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS and familiarity with current CID measures in one or more of the DoD services. Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team is a plus.
