Job Requirements

The primary responsibility will be to accurately translate Unit Health Monitoring (UHM) information and processes from current PUHMA and Excel-based tools into a standard, centralized, and enhanced PI Asset Framework based UHM application, AIMS (Asset Intelligence for Monitoring and Surveillance). The AIMS Implementation Engineer will work as part of the delivery squad to accomplish the following tasks for each unit:

Work with unit engineers, technology discipline SMEs to understand their current UHM tools.Configure engineering calculations in PI Asset Framework. Ensure the accuracy of the work by validating against results from existing tools and/or based on engineering judgement. Support material balance reconciliation activities as needed.Lead the user acceptance testing.

Troubleshoot and continuously improve the AIMS solution

Work Experience
Chemical engineering or equivalent degree is required.Experience with refining technology or similar chemical engineering process background is required. Good understanding refining unit operations and process calculations, including heat exchanger principles, distillation principles, fluid flow principles, and reaction principles, is a plus. Working experience with PI Asset Framework and Palantir products is a plus.Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel. Must be very comfortable with complex Excel spreadsheets. Familiarity and proficiency with more advanced Excel functions such as Lookup & Reference functions, Text manipulation functions, Logic functions, and basic Statistical functions. Experience programming in VBA is a plus.The successful applicant must be detail-oriented and be able to keep multiple tasks moving simultaneously according to schedule. Familiarity with agile work is a plus.Must have good technical communication skills. This includes ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with unit engineers and squad members to understand their issues and problems and communicate solutions.
