What is the opportunity?
Capital Markets Data AI and Research Technology (DART) team is seeking a hands-on AI Scientist to lead our AI research efforts and build intelligent systems that power research digitization, banking workflows, global markets, and monetization pipelines. You'll be at the forefront of developing and productionalizing GenAI solutions for capital markets use cases.
What will you do?
Research, design, and build end-to-end GenAI-driven systems that integrate with capital markets workflows
Develop and productionize intelligent agents (RAG and multi-modal) leveraging enterprise data to support Research, Banking, Sales, etc.
Build production-ready APIs and services backed by large language models (LLMs) and semantic search capabilities
Implement Kubernetes-deployed MCP servers using FastAPI, supporting dynamic routing, prompt orchestration, and multi-source data access
Manage AI Ops and MLOps pipelines for Generative AI systems, including CI/CD automation and containerized deployments
Expected to code 90%+ of the time, collaborating with platform teams and business stakeholders
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have:
Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning or equivalent experience
4+ years of experience building AI/ML systems with in-depth knowledge of Machine Learning, deep learning and Generative AI
In-depth knowledge of LLM architectures, NLP, embeddings, re-rankers, and agentic frameworks
Strong backend development skills in Python, FastAPI, and async programming
Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and API deployment at scale
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, testing, and infrastructure automation for AI applications
Nice To Have:
Experience implementing GenAI systems into production
Familiarity with model orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar)
Experience with model evals, model monitoring, and MLflow
Knowledge of alternative financial data sources and their AI applications

The Expected Salary Range For The Above Position Is $85,000 - $160,000 Depending On Factors Including But Not Limited To The Candidate’s Experience, Skills, Registration Status; Market Conditions; And Business Needs. This Salary Range Does Not Include Other Elements Of Total Compensation, Including A Discretionary Bonus And Benefits Such As A 401(K) Program With Company-Matching Contributions; Health, Dental, Vision, Life And Disability Insurance; And Paid Time-Off Plan.
