Are you passionate about privacy-preserving AI? Are you interested in developing the next generation privacy-preserving AI/ML capabilities to better understand how people use consumer care products?
Given IMU data from user activity, we will measure effort/comfort of consumers performing routine daily tasks. We will a) segment micro-actions / sub-activities, b) determine effort required during specific tasks, c) assess time taken to complete a certain task, e.g. time to clean dishes, brush teeth, wash hair, perform laundry tasks.
Help us to design studies to collect training datasets for new tasks and use annotation for IMU data for event classification (Human Activity Recognition), and then take this data and build models for HAR. Propose new sensors and research methods for HAR. Interface with consumer researchers and product development technologists to envision new sensing capabilities and then build and qualify them for research usage.
This is an entry-level role for employees who are developing proficiency in their field. As an intern or co-op in management, you will have the opportunity to grow and learn from experienced professionals in a supportive environment.
