Job Description
In this role, you will
Guide the development, optimization and scaling up of pipelines and applications across different areas of drug discovery and development
Act as a technical lead for one or several small software development projects
Prototyping, test and validate novel scientific solutions: algorithms, machine learning models, applications, pipelines and dashboards
Extract and aggregate data from various data sources
Process, integrate, visualize and model data
Build end-to-end pipeline of data processing on regular basis
Required Experience and Skills:
MSc or PhD degree in computer science, software engineering, data science or related field with at least 3 years of experience in developing scientific applications in discovery or clinical development settings
Excellent problem-solving skills and high professional standards with strong ability to prioritize and work under pressure
Strong communication skills and ability to simplify and explain complex problems to data scientists and software engineers
Excellent programming skills in a subset of the following Python, Rust, Java/C++, R/Shiny, Matlab, JS Linux/Unix, SQL and versioning control e.g. Git
Solid knowledge and hands-on experience developing machine and deep learning models via Python (Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow etc)
Significant Experience with HPC, cloud computing (AWS) and distributed computing
Experience in the creation of data workflows as well as data analysis and interpretation
