The AI Market Analyst is a specialized role that bridges data science, market strategy, and artificial intelligence to deliver actionable insights on market opportunities in AI market!

You will be developing, maintaining, and refining AI-driven TAM models, enabling organizations to assess potential market size, product/customer opportunities, and strategic priorities with precision and agility.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, business development, sales, and executive leadership, to advise decision-making and drive growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain TAM Models: Build robust, scalable TAM models using AI and sophisticated analytics to quantify market opportunities across products, segments, and geographies.Data Collection and Integration: Source, clean, and integrate diverse data sets—including internal company data, third-party market reports, government statistics, and open-source data—for comprehensive TAM analysis.Model Refinement and Automation: Continuously improve the accuracy and efficiency of TAM models by using machine learning techniques and automation tools to process large volumes of data and provide real-time updates.Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with teams to ensure TAM analyses align with strategic business objectives, product roadmaps, and customer needs.Market Trend Analysis: Monitor and interpret industry trends, competitor movements, and new technologies to update TAM models and forecasts proactively.Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain clear documentation of methodologies, assumptions, and data sources for visibility, repeatability, and cross-team education.Compliance and Ethical Considerations: Uphold data privacy, security, and ethical standards in all analyses and recommendations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Analytical Thinking: Strong quantitative skills, attention to detail, and ability to make data-driven recommendations.Market Analysis: Experience in market sizing, segmentation, and forecasting; understanding of Server Market or DRAM Market is a plus.Interpersonal Skills: Proficient in translating sophisticated technical analyses into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Collaborator Engagement: Experience working with business, technical, and executive teams.Continuous Learning: Proactive approach to staying current with AI advancements, market intelligence practices, and emerging industry trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree or niche certification in AI, Data Science, or Market Intelligence.Experience in enterprise SaaS, cloud computing, or technology sector TAM analysis.Familiarity with proprietary and public market research databases (e.g., Gartner, IDC, Forrester).Prior exposure to sales operations, product strategy, or management consulting environments.Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$116,500.00 - $263,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.  The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
