WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The unit RGQ/IM is seeking a dedicated Knowledge and Communities Specialist to join our Knowledge Management team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our knowledge management practices and ensuring the efficient dissemination and utilization of R&D related information across the organization. It includes delivering centralized R&D content management and tools to enhance knowledge reusability and promoting everyone’s responsibility in knowledge documentation and long-term availability.

RESPONSIBILITIES Independently manage Knowledge Management related IT projects, proposing optimization options and innovative conceptsDrive the implementation and optimization of digital workflows and knowledge management systems in collaboration with the team, Digital Services (GD) and end users in Group Research (RG) and other Operating Divisions.Initiate and facilitate cross-unit knowledge transfer to promote best practices and continuous improvementDeliver Knowledge Management consulting and solutions for R&D teams.Stay informed about new developments, maintaining a robust network with BASF's Digital Services teams and R&D units. REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION An above-average degree in engineering or natural sciences, ideally supplemented by a PhD.Extensive professional experience in knowledge management, with a strong understanding of digitalization and information systems.Deep understanding on R&D Knowledge processes and relevant product families in the Digital Services Division (GD).
