AI Information Security Engineer
Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 2 years of experience with security assessments or security design reviews or threat modeling. + 2 years of experience with security engineering, computer and network security and security protocols. + 2 years of coding experience in one or more general purpose languages Preferred qualifications: + Experience building or maintaining secure reliable systems. + Experience with security or reliability technical reviews. + Ability to work across organizational boundaries and influencing without authority. + Excellent communication skills. Our Security team works to create and maintain the safest operating environment for Google's users and developers. Security Engineers work with network equipment and actively monitor our systems for attacks and intrusions. In this role, you will also work with software engineers to proactively identify and fix security flaws and vulnerabilities. As an AI Information Security Engineer, you will help to ensure that our AI products and systems are designed and implemented to the highest security standards. You will perform technical security assessments, code reviews and vulnerability testing to highlight risk, helping Google teams and partners to improve security, and work on a wide variety of software designs and technology stacks. You will also work closely with other Google Engineers to design and build proactive methods to enhance our security posture. In addition, you will have the option to specialize and/or perform research in a number of varying fields. The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company. + Perform technical security assessments, code audits, and design reviews on AI products. + Develop technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities. + Advocate security and secure practices throughout Google. + Conduct research to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities in regards to Google's products and services. + Help design and build signals and dashboards to track measure product security risk and security posture.
