Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities AI Governance

Process AI governance tickets from initial assessment to completion, ensuring adherence to required standards and regulations.

Review AI use cases to ensure alignment with governance requirements, ensuring compliance across models and processes.

Work with data and process-related tools to facilitate a data-driven approach to AI governance and reporting.

Extract, clean, and analyze both structured and unstructured data using scripting languages to derive actionable insights and continuously improve processes.

Maintain a centralized AI/ML model inventory, tracking key metadata, classifications, ownership, and risk profiles.

Respond to AI-related queries, troubleshoot current issues, and deliver prompt solutions to emerging concerns.

Ensure the integrity and quality of data used for effective AI governance practices.

Agile Project Management

Prepare clear and concise stakeholder-facing communications in alignment with team standards of clarity, reference, and effectiveness.

Document business requirements, analyze findings, and provide actionable recommendations.

Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation supporting regulatory compliance and internal governance processes.

Manage workflow timelines, track progress, and ensure the timely delivery of milestones for AI governance tasks.

Provide administrative support to the Cyber AI Governance Lead, managing and prioritizing task backlog efficiently.

Collaboration and Communication

Respond promptly (same-day) to ad-hoc requests and issues, ensuring accuracy and relevance.

Collaborate effectively with teams across various departments, including cybersecurity, AI, risk, and compliance, to provide status updates and address issues.

Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with internal collaborators to enhance overall team productivity.

Keep stakeholders informed of AI activity and provide timely updates on progress.

Continuous Learning and Improvement

Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and methodologies related to AI governance.

Identify opportunities for process improvement, particularly through automation, and contribute to their implementation.

Analyze extensive datasets to uncover trends and insights that inform decision-making and enhance overall efficiency.

Skills and Experience

Experience: 3 – 5 years of experience in financial services, AI/ML risk management, model governance, regulatory compliance, or related technology fields.

Educational Background:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related fields is advantageous.

Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in any Science, Technology, Engineering, or Medical (STEM) field, combined with data, technology, and/or programming experience will also be considered.

Candidates without a degree may be considered if they have demonstrable career experience in relevant areas or possess relevant industry certifications in data or cybersecurity.

Technical Knowledge:

Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, C#, or similar (Nice to have).

Familiarity with Cyber/AI terminology and technologies.

Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA).
