AI Governance and Compliance Specialist

This role requires a strong understanding of AI ethics, data privacy, and regulatory frameworks. The AI Governance & Compliance Specialist will collaborate with legal, compliance, and risk management teams to ensure responsible AI development and deployment. **Key Responsibilities:** + Develop and implement AI policies and guidelines. + Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to AI. + Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for AI applications. + Promote ethical AI practices within the organization. + Develop and deliver training programs on AI ethics and compliance. + Monitor and audit AI systems to ensure compliance with policies and regulations. + Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address AI-related legal and regulatory issues. + Document and maintain records of AI governance and compliance activities. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s or master’s degree in law, Ethics, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. + Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or policy development, preferably related to technology or data privacy. + Strong understanding of AI ethics, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, local Qatari regulations), and relevant industry standards. + Knowledge of AI technologies and their potential ethical and legal implications. + Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Ability to interpret and apply complex regulations and policies. + Experience with risk assessment frameworks. + Experience in policy creation and training. + Knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
