If so, lets talk. **Your role and responsibilities** The AI Engineer is responsible for driving IBM sales execution by ensuring pilot platforms are engineered to deliver customer technical and business outcomes and improve deployment of Client Engineering pilots. They work closely with other Client Engineering roles to deploy the foundation for comprehensive pilot solutions. Platform Engineers are experts at deploying solutions across Hybrid Cloud. You are accountable for Technical Expertise * Provide deep technical expertise in their area of focus * Align with industry standards with deep understanding across deployment automation techniques and technology * Possess a deep understanding of the Hybrid Cloud platforms (especially OpenShift platform, the hypervisors cloud providers on which it runs, and managed offerings: ROKS, ROSA & ARO) * Demonstrate deep knowledge for deployment of WatsonX and other IBM strategic software across the Hybrid Cloud using DevOps / MLOps practices * Drive IBM sales execution by engineering pilot platforms to deliver customer technical and business outcomes * Improve deployment processes of Client Engineering pilots. * Collaborate with Client Engineering teams to build foundations for comprehensive pilot solutions. * Serve as Hybrid Cloud deployment experts. * Provide deep technical expertise within their domain * Align with industry standards using advanced deployment automation techniques and technologies. * Possess extensive knowledge of Hybrid Cloud platforms, especially: * OpenShift * Underlying hypervisors and cloud providers * Managed offerings like ROKS, ROSA, and ARO * Deploy watsonx and other IBM strategic software across Hybrid Cloud using DevOps/MLOps practices * Co-create solutions with clients and build strong relationships during pilot delivery * Effectively communicate and promote Hybrid Cloud adoption. * Use modern methodologies and technologies: * Cloud-native frameworks * Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) * DevOps, GitOps, MLOps * Develop reference cases based on successful implementations. * Apply domain knowledge to leverage IBM best practices and points of view. * Provide platform expertise for bespoke solutions using IBM brands. * Share successes and learnings across Client Engineering and technical sales teams. * Document and share key assets for reuse by broader teams. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Deploy containerized applications, especially on Kubernetes. * Troubleshoot deployments and guide clients on best practices. * Understand and advise on Public Cloud offerings related to: * Compute, networking, storage, security * Provide architectural guidance for Hybrid Cloud (on-prem and public cloud). * Recommend best practices for: * DevOps, GitOps, MLOps * Platform automation tools * * Proficient in deployment/configuration management tools: * Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates * * Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC). **Preferred technical and professional experience** NA IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
