EisnerAmper is seeking an AI Development Director who will spearhead the development and implementation of EisnerAmper's AI platform, leading a cross-functional team to deliver intelligent solutions that transform service delivery across tax, audit, and advisory services. This role is critical to EisnerAmper's vision of becoming the industry-leading AI-powered professional services firm.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:  

 Lead the technical development and strategic roadmap of the EisnerAI Platform in collaboration with the Chief AI Officer, ensuring alignment with firm-wide objectives.

Architect and oversee the AI platform structure, including data management, application logic, user interfaces, and integration with Microsoft Azure.

 Design and deploy AI agents (e.g., TaxPrepBot, DocIntake, ComplianceRiskBot) to automate key professional services functions and accelerate workflows.

Implement advanced AI technologies such as RAG systems and vector databases, ensuring performance benchmarks and business goals are met.

Hire and develop AI engineering teams, fostering innovation, collaboration, and adherence to responsible AI practices ​

Coordinate cross-functionally with stakeholders in UX, data engineering, and business units to align technical solutions with user needs.

Oversee AI governance and compliance, implementing NIST AI RMF, maintaining security protocols, and ensuring data governance adherence.

Manage strategic partnerships, especially with Microsoft, to optimize platform capabilities and accelerate delivery timelines.

Basic Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Master's degree preferred (Computer Science, AI/ML, or MBA with technical focus)

8+ years of software development experience with 5+ years in AI/ML leadership roles

3+ years of experience leading development teams (10+ engineers)

Preferred/Desired Skills:

Microsoft Azure AI Foundry: Deep expertise in Azure AI services ecosystem

Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale AI solutions

Azure Machine Learning: MLOps, model deployment, and lifecycle management

Azure OpenAI Service: GPT models, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning

Azure Cognitive Services: Document Intelligence, Language Understanding, and Computer Vision

Azure AI Search: Vector search, semantic search, and knowledge mining

Azure Databricks: Data engineering and ML model development

Programming Languages: Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL

AI/ML Frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Transformers

Vector Databases: Azure Cosmos DB, Pinecone, or Weaviate

DevOps & MLOps: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes

For NYC and California, the expected salary range for this position is between

120000

and

250000

The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences.  The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
