A master's degree or PhD in mathematics, computer science, engineering, or related field preferred. A master's degree may offset two years of software development experience, and a PhD may offset four years of software development experience. Other CCNA and MCP certification preferred. Position Purpose: The AI Development Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced AI solutions that drive innovation and efficiency within our organization. This role requires a deep understanding of AI technologies, software development, and system architecture. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading AI projects from conception to deployment. Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: + Design and develop scalable AI architectures and solutions . + Lead the end-to-end AI development lifecycle, including data collection, model training, evaluation, and deployment . + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI opportunities and integrate AI solutions into existing systems . + Stay current with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies and methodologies . + Mentor and guide junior AI engineers and developers . + Ensure AI solutions are robust, secure, and compliant with industry standards and regulations . + Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members . + Develop and maintain documentation for AI systems and processes . + Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to maximize AI functionality and user experience . + Establish and consult on best practices and standard operating procedures for development, deployment, support, break-fix, and systems management . + Assess usage and utilization trends to make appropriate design and implementation recommendations towards scaling architecture . + Responsible for tasks related to the management and deployment of systems, methodologies, standards and processes that support AI / Machine Learning platforms . Perform other duties as assigned. Other Requirements: + Experience designing AI applications, and knowledge of Machine Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. + Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. + Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles. + Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus. + Experience with natural language processing (NLP), Optical Character Recognition (OCR), computer vision, or reinforcement learning. + Knowledge of big data technologies and tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). + Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). + Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively. + Strong communication and collaboration skills.
