In addition to driving technical excellence, you will serve as a senior technical mentor within the data science stream, collaborating closely with a team of dedicated platform engineers (so you won’t be the sole engineer!). However, you’ll also have the flexibility and capability to step into engineering tasks when needed, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of AI solutions.

As an AI Data Scientist (GenAI & Engineering Hybrid), you will take a leading role in designing, prototyping, and deploying cutting-edge Generative AI solutions to tackle complex business challenges. Your responsibilities will span both domains, focusing on solutioning business problems, rapid prototyping, prompt engineering, engaging with stakeholders, and delivering actionable insights. You will also be contributing by writing production-grade code, integrating APIs, managing databases, developing CI/CD pipelines, and building scalable, maintainable AI systems.In addition to driving technical excellence, you will serve as a senior technical mentor within the data science stream, collaborating closely with a team of dedicated platform engineers (so you won’t be the sole engineer!). Proven expertise in Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Models (LLMs), including hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG techniques, AI agents, prompt engineering, and frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, AWS Bedrock Agents & Bedrock Agentcore, GCP Agentspace, etc. A hybrid data science and engineering skillset, with a strong ability to productionise AI/ML models in Python, write maintainable code, and work in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure). A personal passion for GenAI, demonstrated through personal projects, experimentation, or active use of tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code to enhance creativity and productivity. Strong business and communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts into business value and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions. Leadership and mentoring experience, with a passion for knowledge sharing and fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
