Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

Data Models & Data Pipelines:

Design, implement and/or integrate existing on-prem data pipelines, and make it available for the development of ML features

 Collaborate in designing and running data acquisition activities, including ingestion from recording campaigns and synthetic data providers

Drive data consistency and synchronization efforts across different persistence systems in the data and ML loop

MLOps Strategy & Architecture:

Collaborate on the MLOps strategy for our hybrid cloud environment, ensuring alignment with business objectives, security requirements, and best practices

Collaborate on the technical design of a MLOps platform that provides a self-service approach to the MLOps loop problems, such as data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, model validation, model deployment, model monitoring

Hybrid ML-loop Implementation:

Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for provisioning and managing cloud and on-premises resources using Terraform

Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive Data and ML models in both cloud and on-premises environments

Implement and/or integrate tools to deliver the full MLOps loop

Collaboration & Leadership:

Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and infrastructure teams to deliver a high-quality MLOps solution

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers

Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including technical and non-technical audiences

Qualifications

Education:

MSc or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning or a related field

Experience:

3+ years of experience in MLOps, Data Engineering or similar roles, with a strong focus on AI/ML use-cases

Technical Skills:

Proven experience designing, implementing, integrating, and maintaining Data infrastructure and MLOps solutionsStrong knowledge of Cloud solutions, preferably AzureExperience with on-premises infrastructure management, including server management, networking, and storageExperience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Apache AirflowStrong scripting and automation skills, such as Python and BashStrong understanding of DevOps principles and practicesExperience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub ActionsProficiency in IaC tools, preferably Terraform

 Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving skillsEffective communication skills, team player, and capable of collaborating across functional areasProactive, customer and result-oriented personalityFluent in English, written and spokenExperience working in Agile/SAFe environments
