Work You’ll Do

Deloitte is seeking a visionary and results-oriented Manager for our Life Sciences Commercial Operations practice, specializing in cutting-edge, AI-powered solutions for commercial operations (specializing in Incentive Design, Structure, governance, structure plan design, incentive compensation, quota setting, and target setting etc). This role demands a deep understanding of the life sciences industry, combined with expertise in leveraging AI and advanced analytics to drive transformative changes in commercial operations.

As a Manager you will lead and deliver engagements, or components of large, complex engagements. These projects identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for clients. Using direct management and hands-on delivery, you will craft solutions for clients. You will guide and oversee your team’s deliverables and recommendations. You will also manage daily stakeholder relationships. Managers contribute to Deloitte’s thought leadership. Managers play a key role in business development activities, including developing and presenting proposals. Managers are also responsible for developing junior staff.

Qualifications

Required:

6+ years experience with relevant professional experience4+ years of experience in life sciences commercial operations, with a proven track record of success in incentive compensation, quota setting, and/or sales force effectiveness.4+ years professional Life Sciences consulting experience driving commercial transformation and innovation for clients, to include data and AI in areas such as: Customer engagement, Field Force excellence and operations, Customer 360, and Sales & Marketing.2+ years of deep understanding of AI/ML techniques and their application to commercial operations challenges.1+ years demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects, budgets, and teams.Bachelor’s DegreeAbility to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveLimited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

Graduate degree (MBA, MS, PhD) in a relevant field (life sciences, engineering, data science, business).Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.Understanding of commercial data landscape, CRM Systems, sales force enablement technologies and emerging technologies (such as GenAI) and advanced data architectures (ie: Multimodal data management & model design, Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Data Products, etc.Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in life sciences data privacy and security.Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at the executive level.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $158,900 to $292,900.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
