ABOUT THE ROLE

The AI Analyst is a member of the AI and Automation team. This position directly supports the strategic direction, development, and implementation of AI, RPA, and other technologies in support of automation at MVB. This position works closely with lines of business and key stakeholders to oversee the review, testing, and implementation of AI and Automation technologies at MVB. The AI Analyst will ensure that MVB remains at the forefront of AI advancements and adheres to ethical standards, regulations, and governance practices. The AI Analyst reports directly to the Director of AI and Automation within the Data and Automation team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Provide support for the implementation of Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Robotic Process Automation to automate workflows, tasks, or decisions that increase operational efficiency and accuracy. Work closely with the Director of AI and Automation to provide recommendation for new and emerging AI and Automation implementations Work with the Enterprise data team to design, curate, contextualize, and deploy data in support of AI, RPA and other automation technologies. Create and evolve analytical tools to take a data driven approach to discover opportunities for AI and Automation across the organization Responsible for working with the vendor to provide model learning data, including synthetic data as needed. Responsible for creating and providing all vendor requested data maps and lineage documentation In collaboration with Enterprise data, develop standardized practices for onboarding new AI and Automation technologies, including developing AI data intermediaries and domains Support the development of an AI intermediary in Snowpark as the central repository for all AI and ML models Support the design, development, and deployment of automation solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals Monitor and analyze performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of AI and automation initiatives and identify areas for continues improvement Analyze process automation requirements and design RPA solutions, architecture, and logic in collaboration with the Business Transformation Office Responsible for UAT testing of AI, RPA, and other technical approaches to automation and process improvement Work with the Enterprise data team to design, curate, contextualize, and deploy data in support of AI, RPA and other automation technologies.

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in AI, Data Science, information systems, statistics, or other related field required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in data science, machine learning, data analytics, predictive analytics, or other relevant field strongly preferred. Master's degree in a related field such: as an MBA, MS or PHD in AI, MS in Data Science, MS in Information Systems, or MS in Data Analytics preferred but not required. Experience developing and implementing AI and automation (RPA, etc). Experience with AI and automation technologies. Experience working with enterprise-level systems and other large-scale data platforms. Strong lateral leadership and project management skills preferred. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with data quality and data security best practices. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to AI governance Experience with project management methodologies and tools. Relevant professional certifications preferred.
